- Spot: 0.10% for makers and 0.10% for takers on a regular account, so limit orders save nothing until Elite, the level above VIP 0.
- Perpetual futures: 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker. Both apply to the full value of the position, at the open and again at the close.
- Other products: TradFi perps pay the same rates as crypto perps, Standard Futures charge one flat 0.045% per position, and US shares have no trading fee, only a spread of about 0.08%.
- Funding usually settles every 8 hours and passes from traders on one side to the other. BingX keeps none of it.
- VIP levels run from VIP 0 to Supreme VIP, and any one of a level’s conditions qualifies you. VIP 1 starts at 50,000 USDT in assets.
- TradeGetPaid cashback returns 40% of your spot and futures fees, so futures cost you an effective 0.012% as a maker and 0.03% as a taker.
BingX fees at a glance
| Fee | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0.10% | 0.10% |
| Perpetual futures (crypto) | 0.02% | 0.05% |
| TradFi perps (stocks, gold, forex, indices) | 0.02% | 0.05% |
| Standard Futures (one flat fee) | 0.045% | 0.045% |
| US shares (real stocks and ETFs) | No fee | No fee |
Rates for a regular account (VIP 0). Higher VIP levels lower the spot and perpetual futures rates, TradFi included. Standard Futures charge their 0.045% once per position, at every level, and US shares cost a spread of about 0.08% instead of a fee. Futures positions also pay or receive funding at set times, between traders rather than to BingX.

Maker or taker: which fee you pay
A market order fills immediately against orders already waiting in the order book. It takes liquidity out of the order book, so you pay the taker fee.
A limit order priced away from the market joins the order book instead. BingX’s guide to futures order types says it “will enter the queue and wait to be filled”, and because it adds depth to the market, you pay the maker fee once it fills.

A market order takes liquidity from the book and pays BingX’s taker fee. A limit order that waits adds liquidity and pays the maker fee once it fills.
A limit order doesn’t always get the maker rate. If its price lets it fill the moment you place it, it “will be filled immediately at the current best available price”, in BingX’s words, and you pay the taker fee. On perpetual futures, post only rules that out: BingX cancels a post-only order that would match an existing order straight away. Our maker vs taker guide has more on how the two order types work.
BingX spot fees
Spot trading is the plain swap of one asset for another: pay USDT, receive Bitcoin, and the coins stay in your account until you sell or withdraw them. A regular account pays 0.10% as a maker and 0.10% as a taker, so at VIP 0 a limit order costs exactly what a market order does.
Buy $1,000 of Bitcoin and the fee is $1.00 either way. Sell the same amount later and that’s another $1, so getting in and out costs $2.
The maker discount begins one level up, at Elite: 0.05% maker against 0.08% taker. Elite takes 500,000 USDT of spot volume, or 5,000,000 USDT of futures volume, in 30 days.
Binance and Bybit charge a regular account the same 0.1% on both sides. Kraken Pro and Coinbase Exchange start new accounts much higher: 0.4% maker and 0.8% taker on Kraken Pro, and 0.4% and 0.6% on Coinbase Exchange.
BingX futures fees
BingX’s perpetual futures, or perps, follow a coin’s price without giving you the coin. There’s nothing to withdraw, and the contract never expires. You can go long or short, betting on a rise or a fall, and add leverage: up to 150x on BTCUSDT while the position is worth up to 300,000 USDT, 125x up to 7,500,000 USDT, and lower from there, down to 1x for the very largest positions. BingX has adjusted these tiers for some regions in the past, so check the Position & Leverage page for the contract you trade.
A regular account pays 0.02% as a maker and 0.05% as a taker, and USDC-margined perps cost the same as USDT-margined ones. Both rates sit well below spot’s 0.10%, but once leverage comes in, a futures trade often costs more in dollars.
Why leverage makes futures fees bigger
BingX charges the fee on the position’s value, not on the margin behind it: “Trading fee = Position value × trading fee rate”. It shows this with a 1 BTC order at 35,000 USDT and 5x leverage. The margin is 7,000 USDT, yet the taker fee of 17.5 USDT is 0.05% of the full 35,000.
Now put $1,000 of your own money into a position at 10x. The position is worth $10,000, so a market order costs $5 to open and another $5 to close. That’s $10, or 1% of your money, before the price has moved. Buying and selling $1,000 on spot costs $2.

At 10x, $1,000 of margin opens a $10,000 position. At BingX’s regular taker rate, opening it costs $5 and closing it another $5.
Limit orders on both sides bring the same round trip down to $4, $2 each way.
Opening and closing are charged separately
BingX takes the fee “once when opening and once when closing a position”, each time on what the position is worth at that moment. If the price has risen by the time you close, the position is worth more, so the closing fee comes out a little higher than the opening one. Each side also pays its own rate: open with a market order and close with a limit order, and you pay 0.05% going in and 0.02% coming out.
Funding fees on perpetual futures
Perps also carry funding: at set times, traders on one side of the market pay traders on the other, and the funding rate decides which side pays and how much. BingX’s funding guide is plain about where that money goes: “The exchange itself does not charge any funding fee. The fee is directly settled between users.”

Funding passes between longs and shorts, usually every 8 hours, and only positions open at funding time pay or receive it.
- Direction: a positive funding rate means longs pay shorts, and a negative one means shorts pay longs.
- Timing: most contracts settle every 8 hours, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 UTC, BTCUSDT among them. BingX can shorten the interval to 4 hours or 1 hour for some volatile tokens, and each contract’s info page shows its interval.
- Amount: the position’s value times the funding rate at settlement. BingX’s base rate is 0.01% per 8 hours, and at that rate a $10,000 position pays or receives $1 each time. The actual rate moves with the market.
- Open positions only: close before settlement and BingX leaves you out of that round.
TradFi, Standard Futures and US shares
TradFi perps are perpetual futures on stocks, ETFs, forex, commodities such as gold and oil, and indices, margined in USDT. They work like crypto perps and cost the same 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, and VIP levels lower them too. A stock perp follows the share price, but it isn’t the share: you don’t own it and you get no dividends. BingX’s latest TradFi fee notice applies these rates to “certain regions and users”, so confirm the rate for your account before you trade. Funding settles every 4 to 8 hours depending on the contract, and it keeps running while the underlying market is closed.
Standard Futures are BingX’s simpler futures, on crypto pairs. There are no limit orders, only market and trigger orders, and each order is managed as a position of its own. Instead of maker and taker rates there’s one flat 0.045% at every VIP level, worked out when you open and taken when you close, so you pay it once. A $10,000 position costs $4.50 in fees from start to finish. The price you get also includes a spread on top of the market price, and that spread varies. Funding applies to Standard Futures too.
US shares are real US stocks and ETFs, more than 7,000 of them, executed and held by the US broker Alpaca Securities. You can’t use leverage on them. Instead of a trading fee, you pay a spread of about 0.08% of the filled value, so a $1,000 buy costs about $0.80. BingX charges no holding, overnight or management fees on them.
BingX VIP levels
BingX has eight levels: VIP 0 for a regular account, then Elite, VIP 1 to VIP 5, and Supreme VIP at the top.
| Level | Spot maker | Spot taker | Futures maker | Futures taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VIP 0 | 0.1000% | 0.1000% | 0.0200% | 0.0500% |
| Elite | 0.0500% | 0.0800% | 0.0180% | 0.0450% |
| VIP 1 | 0.0350% | 0.0600% | 0.0140% | 0.0400% |
| VIP 2 | 0.0200% | 0.0500% | 0.0120% | 0.0375% |
| VIP 3 | 0.0150% | 0.0450% | 0.0100% | 0.0350% |
| VIP 4 | 0.0125% | 0.0375% | 0.0080% | 0.0315% |
| VIP 5 | 0.0100% | 0.0325% | 0.0060% | 0.0300% |

Rates from BingX’s Fee Schedule and VIP page, checked 15 October 2026. The futures columns are for perpetual futures.
Elite, between VIP 0 and VIP 1, has been a permanent level since 26 June 2026. On the same day BingX cut Supreme VIP’s futures volume requirement from 600 million to 500 million USDT and its futures taker fee from 0.028% to 0.025%. Supreme VIP makers pay nothing on futures.
On each side of the $10,000 futures position, a market order costs $5 at VIP 0, $4.50 at Elite, $4 at VIP 1 and $3.75 at VIP 2. A limit order costs $2 at VIP 0 and nothing at Supreme VIP.
How to reach each level
| Level | 30-day futures volume | 30-day spot volume | Assets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elite | 5,000,000 USDT | 500,000 USDT | Not available |
| VIP 1 | 10,000,000 USDT | 1,000,000 USDT | 50,000 USDT |
| VIP 2 | 20,000,000 USDT | 2,000,000 USDT | 200,000 USDT |
| VIP 3 | 50,000,000 USDT | 4,000,000 USDT | 1,000,000 USDT |
| VIP 4 | 100,000,000 USDT | 6,000,000 USDT | 2,000,000 USDT |
| VIP 5 | 200,000,000 USDT | 8,000,000 USDT | 3,000,000 USDT |
| Supreme VIP | 500,000,000 USDT | 15,000,000 USDT | Not available |
- One condition does it. Every row of BingX’s table says “Meet any condition on the right”.
- Assets skip Elite. Elite and Supreme VIP can only be reached through volume, so 50,000 USDT in assets takes a regular account straight to VIP 1. BingX counts the value of your assets on the previous day.
- API trading is capped from VIP 4 up. On the volume routes for VIP 4, VIP 5 and Supreme VIP, API trades can be no more than 20% of the volume.
- Levels update daily, based on your rolling 30-day volume. TradFi volume also counts toward Elite and higher, scaled by a conversion rate BingX sets.
- VIP on another exchange? BingX’s “VIP+2” trial lets VIP users of other exchanges, with proof, trade at a higher level for 30 days, up to VIP 5. Each user can apply once.
How to pay less on BingX
- Use limit orders on perpetual futures. The maker rate, 0.02%, is less than half the taker rate, 0.05%: $2 a side on the $10,000 position instead of $5. Choose post only to be sure, since BingX cancels a post-only order rather than let it fill straight away. On spot this only pays off from Elite up, because both VIP 0 rates are the same.
- Use the asset route if you already hold enough. With 50,000 USDT or more on BingX you qualify for VIP 1 without any trading volume, at 0.014% maker and 0.04% taker on futures.
- Keep leverage in check. The same $1,000 at 20x opens a $20,000 position, which pays $10 a side with market orders, twice as much as at 10x.
- Watch funding on positions you keep open for days, and on TradFi contracts over weekends, when funding keeps running while the market is closed.
- Get part of your fees back with a cashback site, covered next.
BingX fees after cashback
When you sign up through an affiliate’s link, BingX pays that affiliate a commission worked out on the fees you actually pay. TradeGetPaid is one of those affiliates, and it pays you 40% of your BingX spot and futures trading fees as cashback, at every VIP level. BingX still charges its normal rates, and the 40% is paid back to you afterwards.
On futures, that’s an effective 0.012% maker and 0.03% taker. On spot, 0.10% becomes 0.06%. The $10,000 futures round trip from earlier costs $10 with market orders, $4 of it comes back, and you really pay $6. A $1,000 spot buy costs $1.00, and $0.40 of that comes back.

BingX’s regular futures rates before and after TradeGetPaid’s 40% cashback.
Each $10,000 round trip adds $20,000 of volume, opening plus closing, so twenty of them make $400,000. Here’s a month of futures trading with market orders. Your 30-day futures volume sets your VIP level, so each row uses the taker rate that volume reaches:
| Monthly futures volume | Level and taker fee | Fees | 40% back | What you really pay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $50,000 | VIP 0, 0.05% | $25 | $10 | $15 |
| $400,000 (20 round trips) | VIP 0, 0.05% | $200 | $80 | $120 |
| $1,000,000 | VIP 0, 0.05% | $500 | $200 | $300 |
| $25,000,000 | VIP 2, 0.0375% | $9,375 | $3,750 | $5,625 |
| $100,000,000 | VIP 4, 0.0315% | $31,500 | $12,600 | $18,900 |
The first three stay at VIP 0, since Elite starts at 5,000,000 USDT of futures volume in 30 days. At $25 million and $100 million, your volume reaches VIP 2 and VIP 4, so BingX’s lower rate applies first and the 40% comes back on that.
There’s one exception: if a BingX bonus covers a trade’s fee, that trade generates no commission, so it earns no cashback either.

Frequently asked questions
On a regular account, spot costs 0.10% for makers and 0.10% for takers, and perpetual futures, TradFi included, cost 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker. Standard Futures charge a flat 0.045%, and US shares only a spread of about 0.08%. Higher VIP levels pay less on spot and perps.
The rates are lower, but futures fees apply to the whole position. At 10x leverage, $1,000 of margin pays $5 a side with market orders, while a $1,000 spot trade pays $1.
On perpetual futures, yes: once when you open and once when you close, each on the position’s value at that moment and at that order’s rate. Standard Futures charge their 0.045% only once.
Most contracts settle every 8 hours, at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 UTC, and BingX can shorten that to 4 hours or 1 hour for some volatile tokens. BingX keeps none of it: funding passes between traders, and only positions open at settlement pay or receive it.
Meet any one of three conditions: 50,000 USDT in assets, 10,000,000 USDT of futures volume in 30 days, or 1,000,000 USDT of spot volume in 30 days.
